Applications
Phenolic moulding compound (PF), is a material produced from phenol-fomaldehyde resins, known as Novolac, to which different additives are added (catalysts, accelerators, waxes, lubricants) and mineral and organic fillers, with the aim of obtaining a material which stands out for being dielectric, with an excellent heat resistance and great dimensional stability.
With a correct combination of these additives and fillers, a wide range of formulations is obtained, in order to be processed with compression, injection or transfer equipments, which makes it possible to produce a great variety of components, such as electric switches, transmission components, ashtrays, handles for kitchenware, switches, for areas as diverse as the electric field, the automotive industry, kitchenware and home appliances. |
