Complementos Sanitarios, s.a. a world-wide reference in the production of toilet seats, decided in 1989, as a measure to adapt its processes to an increasing demand, to outsource the production of the main component of its toilet seats, as is the case of phenolic moulding compounds, and with that aim it set up the company Fenoquímica.
The main aim of the new company, Fenoquímica, should be that of research, development and manufacturing of phenolic moulding compounds for the self-consumption of its parent company, providing itself to that end with a self-sufficient organizational and technical structure.
Fenoquímica began this way, in 1989, its activity with a production plant of phenolic moulding compounds with a high grade of automation and a capacity of 7,000 T/year.

The Development
In the year 2002, taking advantage of the experience gained through the years in the formulation and production of phenolic moulding compounds, a new plant is designed and built, aimed not only at the self-consumption of the parent company, but also with the aim of formulating, developing and marketing phenolic moulding compounds to third parties, with a total capacity of 14,000 T/year.
At present Fenoquímica formulates, produces and distributes phenolic moulding compounds adapted to its customers’ needs in fields as diverse as the automotive industry, electricity, electronics, kitchenware, home appliances, telecommunications. |

Research and Development
Fenoquímica has its own laboratories with a highly specialized human and technical equipment, and equipped with modern technological means both for the development of new products and formulations and for the analysis and control of our raw materials, technological processes and final products. |
